Norton Healthcare Inc. is the Louisville region’s largest health care system, and the hospital is the first new full-service hospital to open in the area in more than 20 years. The five-story, 298,000-square-foot
(27,684-m2) facility features the latest in health care technology and an innovative patient and family-centered care model that promotes comfort, convenience and healing. The $146 million community hospital has 127 beds with 600 employees, including 500 medical staff members, and also includes a 24/7 emergency department with 22 private treatment rooms, 8 operating rooms and a 16-bed critical care unit.
Metl-Span supplied 58,000 square feet (5,388 m2) of its CF Architectural Flat 2- and 3-inch (51- and 76-mm) insulated wall panels in Antique Bronze and Oyster for the project.
